new bed for my daughter?
We are redecorating my daughters bedroom and she is getting new furniture. She was looking at my next catalouge the other day and she pointed out a cabin bed to me and said that she wanted that and she really liked it, I said maybe. This is the link for it.

my daughter is almost 5
The cabin bed isnt very high, it has chunky ladders aswell as guards so she cant fall out and she doesnt play in her bed
My daughter doesnt have sleepovers yet, she is still only 4 and at nursery still. She starts primary school in august and wont have to worry about studying until she is older she wont have much homework at the start.
Design speaking, I like your choice the best. But from a kid's point of view and for space issues, I would go with your daughter's choice. First of all, I would have LOVED to have a bed like that when I was a kid. The only thing that could make that better would be a slide (which they do make beds of this type with, by the way). It's fun sleeping in a non-traditional place when you're a kid. Also, one thing that's super important to a kid is having lots of space to play. Floor space is hard to come by in a lot of kid's rooms. Having a "cool" room is also super important to a kid. That being said, benefits of this bed for you are good storage options that don't take up a lot of room and basically being able to complely furnish her room with 1 purchase. The one thing that I might consider with choosing the bed she likes : Will she outgrow it too quickly to justify the cost? And 2: How often does she have friend's over, and where do they sleep? The bunk will only sleep 1 child. The bed you like would at least sleep 2 children.
