Becoming a mountain man, where to go?
Alright so I want to move away from society and become a mountain man. Where are the best isolated places to do this where no one will ever find me? I plan to make a cabin had a lot of constuction classes(one I helped make a big house), so wont be that hard for me. Also been hunting and fishing since I was 7, so only one shot kills for all my game. (I plan on bringing a rifle and possibly a shotgun and lots of ammo). Also make myself a nice garden and fish need a stream too. Got all I need bring my dog too and buying a baby lab. currently live where it gets -20 to - 50 with wind chill so not worried about weather plus hopefully have my cabin built by the time it gets really cold. So enough of preperation got alot of stuff figured out, so where is the best place that will be the most isolated in the USA or Canada????
Montana is largely unpopulated except for certain metropolitan areas.
Personally I would like Colorado better.
