Mara Simba Lodge Masai Mara Safari information

Mara Simba Lodge is located overlooking a dramatic bend on the edge of the Talek, a tributary of the Mara River, gently mix in the desert surrounding Masai Mara. With nearly a mile along the river, why the bank will remain in its virgin state, while the gardens full of native trees in the back draw a wide variety of birds and butterflies.

The lodge was designed with an emphasis on exclusivity and comfort. It was designed to complement its surroundings and is decorated in traditional Masai. In the Mara Simba Lodge special care is taken to preserve the environment. The Mara Simba Lodge is the only real cozy lodge in Kenya, as is the first to install a treatment plant wastewater.

The plant provides crystal clear water used for irrigation. Mara Simba was conceived not only as a stop overnight, but as a last station safari lodge in the Masai Mara in Kenya. Emphasis is in the exclusive and luxurious comfort, the atmosphere is Masai, and ethnic decoration design incorporates elements of the local tribes.

Mara Simba Lodge Accommodation

The survey of 84 hotel rooms, arranged in groups of 6 in each natural wood and stone Banda (4 rooms on the ground floor, 2 interconnecting rooms on the first floor), comprise 60 double rooms, 12 doubles, 4 singles and 8 triples. All of them have en suite shower, bathroom with granite tiles and Twyfords, (United Kingdom) bathroom accessories. The rooms are large, which can accommodate an extra bed, opens onto its own terrace private with uninterrupted views across the River.

Tents are also available.

All rooms have a magnificent Talek river view and the surroundings of the gallery. The rooms are large enough to add extra beds if needed.

Mara Simba Lodge Hotel Restaurant

Mara Simba Lodge restaurant and bar offer first class cuisine. The bar has a relaxed, pleasant and an ideal place to relax after a day of sightseeing. The dining room where a delicious cuisine of succulent meat dishes and vegetarian menus are served, and the bar, each with stone fireplace, the focal points in the cool of the evening.

Meal times are at the hotel are the following: -

Breakfast is served between 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. while lunch is served at 24:30-14:30 pm. The last meal of the day, dinner is served between the hours of 19:30 and 21:30 at night.
