Does anyone know if they sell kits to build a garage????

My husband restores cars and what not right now he is working on a 1967 Ford Bronco he wants to put a lift on it so we will need a bigger garage where he can pull the bronco in and out of the garage with ease once the lift is put on it. Does anyone know if they sell kits to build a garage like they do some Log Cabin houses and what not. you know where you go into home depot or where ever and pick the garage you want and then they sell it to you as a kit and you can get it cheaper. If you know what i am talking about where can i go to get one of these and roughly how much do you think this would cost.

I live in California. There is a Building supply company called Meeks that sells seperate garage building kits. I think youre on the right track with Home Depot or Lowes....may call one of them and ask for a good vendor if they dont carry things like that..

How much does it cost to have a house built?

I thought it'd be nice to live in a nice log house someday and i'd like to know all the expences that go into building one.

cost of land, varies by where the land is - what state, what county, what city, what neighborhood. actual topography - flat, hilly, sand, clay, rock, close to water, ocean

what kind of waste water treatment is needed. are there sewers to connect to. if not what are the requirements. septic tank, cesspools, leach fields, seepage pits, mound filtration systems. will the ground percolate - how well will it absorb water. if it won't what will you do

cost of plans, buy set of existing plans, buy a kit house, hire an architect

cost of permit, varies depending on who has jurisdiction over the land you are building on, varies depending on what has to be done to get approval to build

general conditions, is water and electricity readily available for contractor use or does it have to brought in

what kind of foundation is required, footers with crawl space, slab, slab with cement walls with the house on top
