Spring Break For The Family - Part 2

Ski and Snowboard
What kids can resist a brightly coloured board and a great fun exhilarating sport? There is great skill in learning to ski and snowboard so a great trip for your kids to learn something new is here waiting for you. When kids are learning to snowboard or ski balance is essential, so make sure they can balance on each foot for about 20 seconds or more before taking them on holiday in the snow. Sugarloaf, Kingfield, Maine
In the heart of Carrabassett Valley, Sugarloaf is a beautiful place to be. The highest summit is 4237ft and there are also trails for you to be able to follow. The season lasts from November until April so it is a great time to go for your spring break. They have specially designed instruction for kids as well as different sized boots, fun mascots and teachers just waiting to get your children out onto the slopes, as well as a snack and hot lunch.
Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, Teton Village, Wyoming
Here they have snowboard clinics for the kids as well as a mega sized ranch which have a combination of lessons and environmental issues. They have classes from 6 months up to 17 years of age and there is plenty to do as well as kids night out and local programs such as Kids ranch rangers program.
