Does anyone know where to find earring components that look like twigs or logs?
Aloha, my friend and I are starting a jewelry line, and we were inspired by this woman's crafts designs where she takes pieces of driftwood and hangs pieces of strung seaglass for home decor. We want to capture the essence of this inspiration in earrings that would be similar in design. Long shot, but does anyone know where we might find some components to hang our seaglass beads from that emulate branches/logs or something with that feel? I've looked all over online and can't seem to find what I'm thinking of. Thank you!!
I found it difficult to believe that there is much market for things which connect above (to the ear hanger) and below (for items to be hung) in anything but the simplest forms, much less a log or twig, but I went to look in my RoseCo catalog to see if they had any waxes for casting such a form - they don't. I think if you are going to do this, you are going to have to sculpt (or mold from nature) originals and make waxes from molds and get the things for use in your jewelry cast or learn to cast them yourself.
I have built mobiles of real twigs http://www.mikegigi.com/firthm/mobiles.htm (scroll down) and have attempted making latex molds of twigs for goblets http://www.mikegigi.com/castgobl.htm and the idea of really small twigs for ear rings and then drilling or having rings seems to result in something much heavier than many would want on their ears (I buy gifts of ear rings for my sister.)

I made a website on freewebs like 10 mins ago. went onto home edit, says this page does not exist?
so i went on the internet tab and typed in my website url (downloadstk.webs.com) and it came up with a page saying:

Once you've chosen your template, you will be back in the Site Manager and ready to start editing your site. Click Home to
start adding content such as text, pictures and videos. Changes on your site take effect immediately.

That is a huge problem! I currently have 2 websites powered by Webs (Freewebs). Try going to http://www.webs.com/. Then log in and you can edit your website.
