My Fiancee and I live in Atlanta- where is a nice, inexpensive place to go on our honeymoon?
We would like to perhaps rent a cabin in the mountains of North GA, or perhaps Tennessee, NC, etc.
We want the place to be within a few hours' drive from Atlanta.
Anyone have any suggestions for us? What we really want is an inexpensive cabin with a mountain view, and we would prefer that the cabin has amenities (like a hot tub, video games, etc).
I am originally from the North Georgia mountains, and Blue Ridge, GA is about an hour and a half drive from the Atlanta area. There are several cabins for rent, mountain views all around (there are 4 mountain chains that run through the area), and there is a large lake as well, so come cabins have lake/mountain views. I am not sure what time of year you are planning to honeymoon, but no matter the time, it is a gorgeous area.
