Of Log Cabin Homes
What are all the log home/cabin building schools (in the US) that you can think of?
I've found a few log cabin building schools in the US, but both of them are in Minnesota. I live in Florida. Yeah. Long drive, right? Can anyone else think of a -good- school that's closer than Minnesota? I'm not coming across any.
I lived in 5 places around florida.... judging by what ive seen in my travels you dont need to worry about one showing up in florida any time soon... I only know of 4 that were built in florida, good luck, between higher air moisture, and termites its not a good combination, a 2x4 or 2x6 can be easily replaced but a log... it must be a good reason why its harder to find them around in florida...
I searched on google maps, there was a place in alabama, the website wasnt working, and it listed a phone number... it might not be a good school or a school anymore.. do you need it to be at a school, are you working on getting a builder licensee?, if not your closest bet maybe contacting habitat for humanity, you maybe able to help them, help someone and help yourself...
