Camping Help and things to do in Gattlinburg, Pigeon Forge and the Smokey Mountains?
So my family and i have rented a log cabin in Gattlinburg TN and we want this trip to be action filled, so can anyone suggest any thing fun/action packed to do there. Second i want to make like a little camp fire there in the backyard.....im a city guy so i dont really do that kinda thing everyday so how do i go about that. Do i just put the wood straight down or in some container...please help me???
dig a small 6"deep as big a circumference as you want for your pit place large rocks around it. I usually put kindling at the bottom with newspaper and stack the good wood tee pee style so the kindling and paper can get air.
Second my family just got back from there about a month ago. There is so many touristy things to do there in pigeon forge its almost like Disneyland. But we did quite a few hikes saw some amazing waterfalls did the Cades Cove tour and went inter tubing down the river for a day we had a blast!!! There really is a million things to do there and you can do it on a small budget if you prepare early!!! GOOD LUCK!!!
