The smell of smoke in the cabin Lake - help!?
We recently bought a lake cabin and has a terrible odor. There is a musty smell and wet, I cigarette smoke reminds ... no smoke, but almost like a fire / burning smell. Not on the ceiling or walls, as the cabin does not have drywall or plaster ... is white painted pine boards. There is no basement. It is small cabinet is limited and there is nothing in the cupboards that cause odor. The odor has permeated the clothes and bedding of ... is everywhere. I even wondered if the rug from under burb guy in the room was damaged in a fire at home at some point, then installed in the cockpit. The cabin had a fireplace in the last 3 years. previous owners had taken. Years of use might infiltrate into the cabin chimney ... but what is hosting the smell? There are no curtains, plaster etc. My husband agrees that there is a smell, but it smelled of smoke. He is not sure what it is. "An air purifier help?
ozone air purifier is best for the fight against smoke and odor. It is true that ozone can be harmful to your lungs, but when used on ability high, just leave the room.
