How much does it cost to Build A Log Cabin?
My husband and I have alittle over 3 acres in Central Indiana and want to build a log house on it. I am curious if anyone can ballpark an estimate on how much it will cost to build. We would like to build at least a 3bd/2 bath minimum 1700 sq.ft. We do have a friend that will be able to do the septic and well for a good price and the utilities are all close by, we own the house on the next lot. Also, we have not found the kit yet. We want a good deal on a log kit, any ideas?

Also, the TV show 'Home Time' did a log home about 10 years ago...maybe they have a DVD or VHS tape available of their past shows.
