Need decorating advice?!

So I'm remodeling my house, all rooms! In my kitchen has been reduced to wood on the walls, plaster all gone! (One of his older house so the walls are ugly old plaster in the kitchen of a sink!) I'll put paneling or sheetrock and then painted. Basically, its a small house with 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, kitchen and living room and a kitchen sink. You can enter a circle and go through all the rooms! That is where my question what colors I should paint the walls and each room is painted the same color? I do not want to paint the same but because the shape of the house is so I do not know how small cordinate color and make it look good! My decor is rustic Americana, so I want cordinate this somehow. I really want other white colors! I love my bedroom to be soothing and dark. Any ideas of photos you have would be great!

I love to paint! As I'm sure you will find the length of my answer below! I learned two important "rules" when I painted our house in 2 floors ... 1) maintain lighter color on the front of the house color and darker towards the back and 2) do not all walls have to be the same color - even if they are connected, but either should complement each other or be in opposite ends of the wheel for contrast. If your front door opens to your living room, I would choose yellow a cozy and attractive without feeling closed in. It's also a great "base" because it goes with the color of ALL at the wheel! My suggestion: Benjamin Moore # Semolina 2155-40. The kitchen should be alive, because that is where everyone comes together if you want them or not! LOL! I would do one of two things - depending on your wall space. Whether a mole cool accent wall with a red or red to go all the way! My suggestion: Benjamin Moore Ravishing delight Red # 2008-10. There is a red brick, but gives the walls a window! For your laundry room and bathroom - to remain neutral. If you use bullet in your kitchen - use the same color in the rooms. And last but not least, blue for your bedroom! I love blue - and there are some darker tones beautiful harmony with your theme. My suggestions: Benjamin Moore Philipsburg Blue # 159-HC and Van Deusen Blue # HC-156. These are very dark! Buckland is also Benjamin Moore HC-151 Blue # - is still dark, but lighter than the other two. Hope this helps - check out the colors on the website of Benjamin Moore. They have some great options for rural Americans ... Good luck! tw
