Question:
I want to know what type of centerpieces reception decor and table settings should i use.also what are sum cute rustic things we could do during the ceremony to spice it up.what kind of food should i serve and drinks.what type of entertainment should i have for the kids and family members?
my brother and his wife had a rather rustic wedding, and for centerpieces they used curls of birch bark and pine cones on the table, in a circle around a mason jar with river rocks (not the colorful ones, but rocks that they actually went and took out of a river) with a candle in them. it was simple and rustic but still looked very classy because of how much effort went into arranging them on the table. and the best part? didnt cost them a thing. the birch bark and pine cones all came from the forest that surrounds our families cabin (they picked them all off the ground, and everything got cleaned VERY well). The rocks came out of a river, like i said. the Mason jars were donated by a family member who makes her own jam. and the candles...ok well, they bought the candles, but you can buy those in bulk just about anywhere for cheap.
when i think rustic, i think of comfort food. anything that has a home made vibe that you just really love.
