How can we compromise on design ideas?
My boyfriend and I are getting ready to get our first appartment together. Which is extremely exciting, the only problem is our taste in decoration is just different enough not to work. He is really into dark art and horror and I am more into the rustic victorian style. What are some good ideas on how we can put our tastes together?
My husband and I just bought our first home together too and so I understand your dilemma. The best thing for you two in my opinion is since he likes dark and "horror" maybe paint the rooms a darker neutral color like brown, and grey to please him but put in the furniture that will suit your style. You can do your victorian theme in the bathrooms and maybe in the bedroom let him have his more masculine darks, like a nice green or grey blue and you can do a pretty bed for yourself.
