Need suggestions for home decor?
This is the first time I painted in a color so bold and I'm not sure made a decision correct. I just paint the formal dining life. The room is a long rectangle. the corner of two walls painted antique red and rest of the room in bleached skin color (Behr colors.) My furniture is dark brown / black oxide / red type tone leather shade. The curtains are of cutting material gold with an accent of light and darkness. Help me to put things togather with the color or upholstery and accessories need suggestions for home decor and carpet. Also I can put some shots in couch.The leather furniture in the dining room is rustic brown shade that is where I antique red looks very nice, but in general I feel that something is missing. Any suggestion, idea .....
Not sure exactly what you're looking for, but try to throw in some models and textures. You can get some throw pillows for the sofa that pulls in both green and red. Same with the carpet, maybe get a rug that has the green gold and red, and perhaps strip another color to add a little contrast. As for accessories depends on your taste - you could go rustic, perhaps more Western or as snow cabin. It is difficult to say because it really depends on your taste. Perhaps you can find a picture to throw things and be inspired. As for the trim, perhaps a coffee or a stained wood to match the rest of your furniture. I think it took a wonderful choice, sounds like a beautiful room! Good luck!
