Updating a peach and sage green decor?
Average age as my mom a lot of money decorating your home, and the latest updates made around 1998. Needless to say, it looks very "90's" (almost "grandmother" in a pejorative sense) at this time. I know she is frustrated with the appearance of date and messy, but now on disability and no extra money to make major changes, such as strip the wallpaper and paint, tear stains (Trust me, I tried Steam) and installing laminated dark cream carpets, etc. She has something of a "Western rustic" look going on, and I think it would nice to work outside. Does anyone have suggestions on how we can update the peach and sage green decor for little money? Thank you very much.
With the rustic look to add a teal blue. It is a cake, but a strong bold. Again, I like "going to" paint. You can use spray paint for lamp bases. the metal wall art, candleholders, etc. Find a print fabric cushions West. Find a large area rug to hide the stain carpet. Some items around the room will update the look. depending on its back Tye curtains add a western theme, maybe a horseshoe hooks or rope tied in a loop. Look through magazines for ideas to incorporate into the room. Remember that a little goes a long way.
