Smokey Mountain Cabin

Anyone know any good vacation spots close to Kentucky?

I'm from Kentucky and I'm planning a family vacation. We don't want to travel too far. Somewhere no farther than 5 hours from us. We went to the Smokey Mountains in Gaitlinburg, TN last year and stayed in a cabin. It was nice but we want to try something different this year. Anyone have any suggestions? 10 pts to best answer.

Rent a house boat on Lake Cumberland, KY...great summer time spot. How comfortable are you driving a house boat? They'll give you an inservice before you take off.
