HELP SMOKY MOUNTAINS TRIP??
My family is going to the Smoky Mountains in the middle of this month(Aug) I have no idea what to expect...since I am only 13. We are staying in a humongous Log Cabin. Should I take warm...cold...clothes? Does it rain alot or is there alot of hiking and swimming? I have no idea as the grownups didnt tell me that much and this was a surprise trip! I really need help packing! I leave VERY soon...please tell me everything about these mountains!
It may rain. Right now in Tennsessee, it is very hot though so bring shorts, t shirts, tank tops. But jeans and light jacket/sweatshirt for rain or night time. The Mountains can be cooler being high up. It is beautiful there, bring a camera. 
And there is places for swimming and hiking. If you are camping bring bug spray and tall boots (not to scare you but there are snakes) if you are going to go downtown gatlingburg, pigeon forge - go to the aquarium and wonderworks - you will love them. And be sure to our Cades Cove in the park - its beautoful. Have fun.
