Decorating a half bath?
Just moved into a new house. We're doing a southwest style throughout. We have a half bath that has an oval shaped mirror over a pedestal sink. Above the toilet is a towel bar. I have never seen a towel bar in a half bath; usually just a ring or two. Should I keep the towel bar and buy decorative towels to hang? Would it look funny if I hung bath towels on the towel bar or should I just hang a hand towel in a ring and put a nice picture above the toilet? I need help 
Would it look bad if I hung the towel bar underneath a picture (on top of toilet) with decorative hand towels? Right now the towel bar is in the spot where a picture would be hung. I would hang the bar across from the sink but that's where the door is. Thanks.
Personally, I would remove the towel bar from above toilet. I would hang picture in its place. I would not put anything else on that wall above toilet, other than picture. I would move bar across from sink and place decorative hand towels on it (typically 3 work well) It's ok if the door opens to that wall. Many 1/2 baths still have towel rack on wall across from sink, regardless of door. If you choose not to do that, then put a towel ring next to sink.
